A side by side with my Asus Transformer running 4.0.3 and my HTC Desire S running 2.3.5 with identical settings on each device.
The phone is pretty much spot on but the tablet is behind a bit,
I was expecting them to be the same but ill debug the shots to see what each one is recording for the same shot.
The reason was that the mic in the tablet is inferior to that in the phone and was clipping the muzzle blast. I moved the tablet further away and it was reading
the same as the phone.
