Burning oil in an air rifle chamber to make a loud bang and blast some gun smoke is totally rad. Just drop some oil into the skirt of the pellet after you load the breech, and the heavy spring piston compresses air and ignites the oil just like how a diesel engine operates. This results in extreme pressure and significantly increased pellet velocity, but the chamber gets really stinky. You also risk blowing up the cylinder, the leather seal and the breech seal. Plus, you may be doing this illegally depending on your politicians.
